Support Our Locally Owned Pet Store with Your Purchase of Gates for Dogs
If you are thinking about exploring with your pet, you need to make sure that you can get your dog from place to place safely. This could involve anything from a drive in the car to a ride on the plane. With this in mind, a travel kennel is a good option for keeping your dog safe and secure during any sort of travel. At the same time, you need to get a travel crate choice that has a lot of room and ventilation. There are a few options that you can pick from to make sure your dog is comfortable during the course of the journey.
Plastic Portable Dog Carriers:
One of the most well-known choices is a plastic, portable dog carrier. This is a good option for dogs that are small to medium-sized. These are often made of thick plastic. They have a carrying handle on top along with a front-facing, turning door. This is great for dogs who are on the go with their human partners on a frequent basis. Because these crates are both portable and durable, they are wonderful for cars and planes.
A Collapsable Wire Dog Crate
In the eyes of many, this is the standard-bearer for dog kennels. Most wire crates are able to fold up, making them painless to move around from the house to the car. They come in all dimensions, making it possible for you to tailor the size of the crate to satisfy the needs of your dog. They are also easy to wash. Adding a cushion or a comforter will make them even more cozy.
A Dog Crate with Soft Sides
It is vital to note that this option isn't good for every dog. They are made from nylon or canvas, meaning that your dog might end up destroying them if they like to scratch or chew. This also isn't ideal for dogs that aren't trained to use crates. On the other hand, dogs that are crate trained usually find them more comforting and comfortable than the alternatives.
